I remember I'd be reading this one fanfic of Cyberpunk Edgerunners where david, instead of dying, was sent back in time to pretty much right after his mom died. Only the twist is he remembers everything, and his sandevistan also has it's own AI, whom he names "Sandy".

Sandy is able to kind of "hack" david's body to bring out it's full potential. Like making him have pretty much full control over his body's processes, like a "bio-hack."

Him and Sandy love one another, like a brother to a sister.
