I was awake for 41 hours yesterday, AMA

Thanks for asking. :peepoLove:

Because I was flying home and I never sleep during plane rides. And I rode two. I did this all without consuming coffee, by the way. When I finally landed for the second time and arrived in my country of destination, it was 1:30 PM. I decided to wait until midnight or close to it before I would sleep, in order to not mess up my sleeping schedule.

I ended up sleeping at 11 PM and waking up at 4 PM.

sounds like torture ngl, can't deal with no sleep

I only flew in plane once
Do you fly for work?
No, it was just a vacation. I honestly don’t like flying and would rather quit my job than to work one that requires me flying. I don’t know how these air stewards do it. Not only do they fly a lot, they also have to service people. It’s a tiring job, they sincerely got my respect.

I had a 16 hour non stop flight. I just stayed up the entire night before and slept like a baby all the way through it. Wear comfortable sweatpants and a hat you can pull over your face to block out the light.

I could never pull of a long-haul flight like that. I don’t know how people do it. I had two flights in a single day, however. First arriving at the airport 3 hours in advance, then a 4 hour flight with a 3 hour layover and then another 7 hour flight. The problem is, I woke up at 10 AM and I left the house at 11 PM to go to the airport. I can never sleep during flights so I stay awake the entire ride, nor do I sleep at airports. That’s the reason why I don’t fly much, because it’s a hassle to me.

Kind of tempted to do meth, but I probably shouldn’t.
Don't ever do it. Before you know it you'll realize that you've been promising yourself that you'll quit for the past couple years. It speeds up time like crazy. I've got only one molar on my upper right side and holes/teeth broken in half everywhere else except in the front.

You’re probably right. I know what it does to people. I’m just a weirdo, I suppose. I know people who have gotten liver failure because of it, and I’m pretty sure they’re dead now.
