The reason why they didn't invite you would be minimally reassuring I assume.

I invite people to things knowing they'd deny it, because I'm just giving them the opportunity to possibly say yes (as in maybe they'd really want to come for whatever reason even if normally they wouldn't otherwise). Sometimes something comes of it, sometimes not, but robbing you the opportunity to even try is not really fair regardless of the reason.

With that being said you should know the reason for closure purposes, even if the answer doesn't necessarily change much.

i figured out the reason
so my friend sisters threw the party and me and her are not on good terms, they all tried to tell her to invite me but at the end of the day it was her decision bc it was her party
