I wish my school had academic rankings

They got rid of it because I’m pretty sure some kids got really depressed or whatever but I would be so much more motivated if there was a ranking system.
the ones who complain about being the at the bottom with no effort or anything holding them back deserve it

I once had a maths teacher who had a seating plan for us that was in order of who got the lowest to highest mark on the most recent exam it was so brutal

Back in middle school I could not get an A in almost any of my classes no matter how hard I tried. Seeing other people get A's effortlessly kinda screwed with me

just try harder nothing comes easy they're just larping the "effortlessly"
 
Middle school me tried the best he could and still couldn't figure out what his shortcomings were :pepehands:

Tbf I never actually had to improve. Sometime over COVID my brain decided to have a growth spurt and ever since then I've gotten pretty much all A's in hs and college without studying a lot.
