i hate sequels. 7 was cool tho really liked the idea of finn becoming a jedi and it had great build up . Then they suddenly put bland ahh character rey and they choose her to be main character it was retarted and fin build up was for nothing. It had such a potential if the fin was the one who will be trained to be jedi. Just classic mary sue situation. 8 - 9 pure shit with like occasional good cameos from original trilogy. Only thing great from new star wars media to me is like mandalorian thats peak. My favourite is probably 6th movie and 3th tbh. But anakin didnt deserve shit , killed young kids for pssy thats crazy work :omegalul: . Tho jedis should have treated him better and sidious manipulated him so he is victim and no wonder he turned against them tho if you mean that. But still amazing character with insane depth and i really liked his split persona and journey how he turned to light side again. Shame they didnt put him as ghost in 9th movie. Missed oppurtinity if u ask me. What do you think about them ?

Also forgot to mention kylo ren in sequel trilogy. Only great character overall in sequels and i liked him. Liked his character development but the whole idea of them being force connected and becoming lovers felt weird and i didnt like that and it felt forced. And idk why always luke who was full of hope became grumpy depressed grandpa. They didnt do the character justice

oh my god. I wish they wouldve commited to the finn/jedi plot line! It couldve been so interesting. Rey is a character i wish i liked but cant. Shes a lame version of Jyn Erso. And I hate how they made her Palpatine's grand-daughter. I think the story could've been so nice if she ACTUALLY came from literally nothing. It could've been a "you don't have to come from something greater than yourself to be great" kinda thing. And i absolutely despise her being with Kylo at the end. I wanted more of a sibling thing from them tbh. And don't get me started on how dirty they did luke

The latest season of Mando. Pissed me off I'm gonna be so honest. It felt like it wasn't even abt him he was like a background character. Andor mogs.

Well I mean atp he was far gone and was vader killing those kids. But he was failed by everybody in his life. People always want to divide star wars into "good" vs "evil" when the jedi council is corrupt as fuck too. The way they went about anakin was terrible. Of fuckin course he's gonna miss his mom u jackasses

EXACTLY. Kylo was such a good character he's one of my favorites but just like all of them he felt undercooked. And the whole "Ben!?" Kiss thing at the end??????? This bitch wanted him gone for three movies and now she's kissing him? The guy who literally killed her temporary mentor/his father like wtf. You didn't even know Ben girl gtfo

thats why they take their kids from their parents before they can remember them and they cant date. He was dangerous because he felt a lot of conflict because of his mom and padme it created anger rage and thats why he felt into dark side. Also jedi council didnt trust him , and that was fault . Really heartkbreaking to see obiwan which i like to see them have to fight each other. He was amazing mentor to him , loved his character. But he still bring balance to the force by choosing to kill palpatine and save his son. and his whole legacy and was gone by BRINGING PALPATINE back to life in 9th. Felt like anakin died for nothing lol. Idk who writed this shit

they literally didnt have any idea what to do so they choose to milk old characters because nobody gave a fuck about new ones lmao. What do you think new trilogy will be like ? I will defo watch it because even when this movies are shit , the world still means a lot to me as i grew up watching these. But i dont have much hope for these ngl

Ugh I just hope it's something NEW. I'm done with everything being a nostalgia cash grab. It's so lazy. I have lots of love for star wars but it just seems like everything is for the money lately

jedi council was definitely not always perfect. They did a lot of questionable shit too. Whole star wars is very grey in moral dilema.

it feels like it doesnt have soul like the old ones. Generic writing without anything special . It feels like these writers dont know their own characters . I literally feel like these random short movies you can find on youtube are better written . U should watch some . Some of them are very solid especially vader one from star wars theory guy

I guess it's bc George Lucas isn't as involved anymore? Everything lately feels lazy in terms of movies. So many remakes or sequels and no original stories I'm sick of it. And when there is something original no one watches it. Mickey 17 should've done so much better in USA box office and didn't smh my head
 
Holy shit now when i think about it star wars is so fucking interesting. like that world offer so much . you can totally get lost in it and their characters are so deep . I dont know how you can screw this much potential goddamn

I try not to think abt failed potential with star wars too much it pisses me off. Failed potential is worse than none
