it's probably my fault, I rejected him and was nice to him afterwards which was shitty of me I should've just ignored him

he told me he's killing himself and he told me how he did it and blocked me

If he's in that mental state, he would've killed himself anyway.

Not really your fault.

Anything could have set him off, your rejection mighta possibly happened to be the thing to do it.

You wouldn't be able to fix his mental state. You being his girlfriend wouldn't have fixed him.

You did nothing wrong, and it's not your fault.

All assuming he did actually rope, and doesn't just want your attention and pity.

It depends a lot on the person who's killing themselves and why.

If someone has driven you to taking your own life, and you hated them, it wouldn't be out the ordinary for you to want them to feel guilt and shame for what they've done.

At least that's what I think.

sure, i just assumed that a rejection wasn’t enough to drive someone to suicide out of pure hatred
if anything id expect him to bluff it out of spite, you truly do have to be at rock bottom in order to commit in most cases

If he was that depressed that a rejection drove him to killing himself, he would've ended up killing himself anyway, even if he never interacted with June.

He was always depressed most likely, the rejection is just the straw that broke the camel's back. At least that's my opinion.

I've both attempted to use such tactics and been on the recieving end, in most cases its a bluff

They know they won't be likeable otherwise, so they settle for pity instead.
