There are actually very good reasons for this, you hang around on discord so you saw it first hand.
 
You’re having a fucking laugh if you think you should have to show a government issued ID to use a teenage incel forum, this would be one of the biggest privacy violations i’ve ever seen

As Decay mentioned, it's a data privacy concern. Even if we used a service like ID.me, there's not much point to it currently.
 
If you're honest you yourself, you wouldn't have ever signed up here if the forum would require a ID verification, why should Dean add it then?

Not sure why you guys are thinking it's a crazy privacy concern either, it's not difficult. before you join the forum you should be blocked from making replies and threads until you provide the top half of your ID and video proof to go along with it.

It would be verified by an Admin before you are allowed to proceed. and if this would be a "privacy concern" you literally have to sign up using your email which can be seen by the URL owner and your IP is seen too.

You wouldn't even have to show the full ID

You can censor all info of the ID and just provide the Face photo and DOB

ah yes, let’s add more barriers for entry for an already dead forum. im sure that'll add a TON of new users who will now be HYPED to verify they’re tryna join a cringe looksmaxxing forum. ip addresses are typically on every single site you join and visible to those who own it, it’s already expected. yknow what ISNT common practice? age verifying for a forum that most people are curious about and not wanting to full swing into. deadass if you cant post (ask questions, try to explain concerns, etc) and need to verify to post, you probably wouldnt if you’re not already an incel that got banned off of .org. stupid as a bag of bricks
