then cis women should also be allowed the same this is crazy
Evwryone should be añlowed free facial feminization or masculinization, it'd legitimately end so many mental health crisises that'd otherwise require years of treatment

The amount of men they pay to become isn’t a lot, and it still has the effect of increasing hypergamy and driving down birth rates

thats how it is but you could say the same abt cis girls like many are insecure about their apperance just like trans girls and therapy and meds would be insufficient for improving quality of life

They don’t care about our quality of life unfortunately, they care about destabilizing society, creating problems so they can sell “solutions”

I think the primary argument is they're more likely to commit suicide due to it (so the treatment is technically saving lives) whereas cis women don't necessarily kill themselves for reasons related to their appearance (sometimes but unlikely).

But I didn't know any of it was covered by insurance. That's interesting.

SS is about to get an increase of new members.

I think it should mostly be covered by insurance personally but I also don't feel like an insurance's job should be to decide what you do or don't deserve treatment on anyways, and their primary job should be helping you pay for medical treatments (cosmetic or not) because you pay a monthly premium for that additional assistance.

But because health insurance is required in the US and is mostly privately owned (aka there's no alternative really) the main objective is to save and earn money, not actually be helpful or beneficial. Unfortunately it's the American way. :sadge:
