if the guy you're dating doesn't care how you dress and who you interact with

maybe, or he doesn't wanna seem controlling
He can't be bothered arguing with someone that can't be sympathetic to his position to begin with.

i don't get it
When you select someone to date, you should have ground rules in place. i.e. don't cheat, don't emotionally cheat.

The premise of a relationship is that you are both one identity together, you're seen as an extension of each-other - any any decision you make - your partner will be under the same judgement.

If for arguments sake, the male was dressing like a slut - with their button up shirt almost entirely undone, it reflects poorly on him and vicariously his girlfriend for not informing him on how it looks.

ohhhh yes i get what you mean

I think it’d depend
People have different standards for modesty
If you date a super religious muslim guy he wouldn’t even be okay with you showing your shoulders
But an atheist European guy wouldnt see anything wrong with shoulders in the slightest
Same logic can be applied to every other body part

enlighten me
i'm a guy, i know my kind

people in relationship in general feel some level of possession over their partner
if he doesn't care about what you and a random guy are talking about
or you're dressing a certain way
that feeling is completely absent
and you're only there for his sexual gratification

I do agree
It’s in different forms for everyone but if there’s no feelings of possessiveness then that can’t make for a good relationship
When i was in a situationship with a girl i’d get jealous when she even posted herself in normal outfits cause i didnt want anyone to see besides me
But of course i knew that wasnt reasonable i never said anything

things should not be taken to the extreme
but if i felt slightly not okay with something with a girl i like
i would communicate one way or another
