how? capitalism just says that people who contribute more to the society will have better quality of life, corruption made unequal wealth, but yeah capitalism failed to take into account that kids of poor parents will have much less opportunity even if they can contribute more to the society, yeha mix of capitalism and socialism is the best imo

that’s the ideal version of capitalism, but in reality it doesn’t start from equal conditions. wealth turns into power, and that leads to things like lobbying and policy being shaped by money

socialism as in cheap healthcare, reducing housing prices, better community services like free parks, free football, basketball courts etc. better retirement facilities for old people, better salaries for labour intensive jobs. but the rest i believe is capitalism.
