Tbh I keep seeing ppl talk about ram price increase due to thiland mass producing for AI machines other companies are running low

They will likely make prices very high basically any electronic u have uses ram

Idk if prices for most thing’s already rose but they will so if u had something u wanted just buy it now

They will have to increase price is production is more expensive for them prices are determined by production costs in most electronics

It’s different types of ram that are used in different products like that though

even if it was the same, RAM cost in something like a console or laptop is low to the manufacturer, a 50% increase in price of ram to them would have little impact on the sale price of that thing if any, someone like Microsoft would just eat a lower margin

Ram types are different ofc but they require some similar parts

Also from what I heard it’s not only prices of ram but they literally can’t produce enough ram
