i genuinely think it makes 0 sense to talk in percentages and include women, children, elderly etc. lets just leave all of those out and only include young men
there are 6.2 million men that are between 16-30
based on data around 25% of people in this demographic go to the gym or train at home (1.6 million)
30% out of these 1.6 million train consistently leaving us with 480,000 young men that train regularly
these are the people that you see at pure gym on a day to day basis, now its up to you to decide how many of these people you look better than. when you go to the gym make a list of every young man (lets say you count 100) and you decide that 10 of them look better than you while 90 of them look worse, its safe to assume that youre in the top 10% of regular gym goers meaning that you could estimate yourself to be in the top 50,000 of best physiques in the uk
if you only include young men then 6,200,000/50,000=
0.806%
if you still want a genral calculation including all ages and both genders
theres 70 million people in the uk.
68,300,000/50,000 =
0.0732%
so youre around top 0.07% of physiques if you include everyone
btw i gave top 10% as a genral estimate, if you think you are top 5% or top 20% in your gym then feel free to make tweeks but id assume your physique is around top 10% out of regular gym goers. however the point im trying to make is even if youre the average joe that goes to the gym consistnetly your physique will mog 99.9% of the population and 99% of young men
