I don't engage in gossip but I am friends with a few gossips in the workplace because it gives me a new eye into people. I'm also good at detecting lies so it's just a good source of information even if some is unreliable.

yeah, maintaining a distance is good though cause then they'll start spreading stuff about you. this one girl from work told me and some dude we both liked each other and he and I looked at each other like "no?" and went on with our day. she was a bitch.
