If your black, Asian, Hispanic, or wtv, speak properly and dress properly, its a must. Your already automatically viewed subconsciously as lower class cus of your race, so dress more proper and speak proper English, not that broken shit, you will be surprised by how much better white people who are in positions that can actually influence your life treat you.
I used to wear baggy jeans with air forces and bb belts and every time i walked past a older white person I always sensed this feeling that they thought I was inferior, they way they talked and their demeanor, it was off. I wouldn't say am too far off from white (not that its good or bad, am proud of where I come from, dima maghreb a drari), but I wouldn't say am perceived as automatically white, people tend to get confused on where am from. The top picks are usually mediteranian (Portuguese, Spanish, and turkey mainly), and south american (Honduran and Columbian mainly)
But simply wearing a quarter zip polo sweater with khakis and some new balance shoes with any watch will have you getting treated SO FUCKING GOOD BY WHITE PEOPLE! and before you say "well your just white worshipping", no, 1) am representing MY people and MY race in a good manner by dressing up in a good way, 2) dressing properly isnt a white thing, its just being a fucking man. ridiculous to make dressing properly exclusive to white people only.
The only reason am saying this is because on thursday I went to an event at my job at the airport where basically alot of high positioned white people (who tend to be fat manlets but whatever) show up to a airport from different branches (Texas, Washington, Michigan, etc) and have like basically a big ass staff meeting/party to celebrate some revenue goal or whatever the fuck, and keep in mind AM THE LOWEST POSITION THERE! Am prospect so I basically just push around old/disabled people around and help them get to their gates/flights, sometimes I help them with their luggage too but thats mainly it.
Everyone else at my position were wearing basic clothes like jeans and a regular shirt, but out of everyone who worked prospect I seemed to get the most "Hey how are you's?" from people from above my position, whether it be a manager, or ad management guys, whatever the case. A black coworker even came up to me during the event and was like "Someones getting promoted", I wish
obviously you have to have good height/good face, but am a 5'10 mtn at 15 so am well off, dress well fellas.
Once again, fuck off with your "DNR", "COPE", farm your reps somewhere else brah
