Discussion Ignore / Block Button are severely underused

On discord and here. People will just keep replying and keep arguing and bickering because they like the attention. If they weren’t just lonely attention whores (male or not), they would have no reason to NOT ignore or block. Just admit you guys are lonely tbh
I don’t currently have anyone on ignore because I feel a lot better about my mental state, but I would definitely use it if necessary.
Same with block feature, you don’t want them interacting with you block them.
The issue is, people will still see the blocked or ignored message if they try hard enough and it get’s the best of them and they click the button. There’s probably solutions for this, but just self control is good.

Most of the issues would be resolved on the forum if people used it, ofc there are issues like alts, lack of other people on the forum. On org it’s easier to ignore because there’s so many other users but it’s tight knit on here. I still don’t see why people can’t use it tho

I've honestly never felt the need to ignore someone but I see why it would be useful if ppl utilized it when needed
