I remember being younger and people being so judgemental if you said you valued looks. It's like in school when you get asked what you'd do with 10 million dollars. 95% either lie and say "charity" as the very first thing.
There was so much cope back then. Guy ditches popular girl for nerdy/tomboy type because she just gets him and listens and it's a mean stacy. That doesn't happen
Now people don't care to admit it. They don't care to call you ugly. Of course it's bad in a sense but which is worse? During the first season of Love is Blind people acted like if the person wasn't physically attracted to their partner once they met that they were monsters. But it's human nature.
