i mean i dont really judge other people, i see judging people like judging animals for doing animalistic things
like maybe its hard to adopt my worldview bc its radical detachment to illusions, but u first have to destroy illusions to understand why i see people that way

How did you come to believe that? I mean I think I’ve read that you like Ancient Greece and all that so maybe you’ve read Plato and Aristotle but they do talk about it that much?

from schopenhauer and nietzsche, now schopenhauer is basically the forefarther of pessimism and after reading his books(the world as will and representation/the fourfold root of Sufficient Reason) on the critiques of kant who i was starting to get into i leaned more into schopenhauer and from him, i got the idea that humans were bodies of drives, detirmined by their thougts which themselves are representations of drives that are out of their control, if i had to explain this simple so u can understand, try to not think, its basically impossible, and while u feel ur thoughts try to label them as a drive(hunger/creativity/winning/status/etc..) its easy to see a pattern, and nietzsche just refined schopenhuaers theory of that

but even tho i got it from schopenhuaer the greeks also talked about this fact, heraclitus said you cant step into the same river twice(as you arent a fixed identity)

Ok thanks! I’ve been wanting to read nietzsche and I’ve read a bit on Kantian ethics and deontology but it always feels like it gets to a point where it’s just mind numbing and you never leave with a answer, but ig maybe that’s just the nature of philosophy in general

The greeks fucked from behind between the thighs
