My kittens one pupil is like downward and it's terrifying me like I'm actually scared of him idk what's wrong tried looking up eye diseases in cats (seriously DO NOT do that) and can't find anything similar only freaky shit that will give me nightmares can someone help me at all

Btw he's like 3 1/2 weeks old it probably isn't a stroke

Anisocoria (uneven pupils), which can be caused by trauma, nerve damage, inflammation, or eye pressure issues.

Congenital defect (born with an irregular pupil shape—rare but possible).

Uveitis or glaucoma (painful, serious eye diseases).

Horner’s syndrome, which causes droopy eyelids and pupil changes on one side.

Or worst-case, neurological issues or a mass pressing on an eye nerve.


Bottom line: If it’s not normal and happened suddenly, you need a vet—ideally within 24 hours. Eyes can go downhill fast and cats hide pain like little stoics. Don’t wait and see. Take photos of the eye to show the vet in case it shifts back to normal before the visit.

it's almost like the eye is trying to like completely rotate on itself, it's just the pupil is moved lower than it should be and his mom is freaking out too
