Nice, English literature is pretty nice for dissociating from people who can't express themselves past a 3rd grade vocabulary. Media communications i don't know exactly, but going by your goal & the name I'm guessing it's to do with coordination and such. Anyways young-directing is looking brighter after backrooms & obsession obliterated the box-office, people like kane parsons are a nice break compared to the normal bullshit Hollywood shits out

I think it’s becoming increasingly obvious how people are bored of the common Hollywood films, I read something a while ago abt how Hollywood films are made as background noise as it’s assumed people will be on their phone while watching, which has just lead to boring, easy to follow storylines, and it isn’t what the people want. It’s nice to see more young and indie directors and ideas becoming more well known, and in the uk especially there’s been a huge increase in funding to the entertainment industry which is looking very promising, they’re building a huge new studio just outside of London

It's something I'm looking forwards too; a good change. it's as you said: just background noise. That's what modern-era corporate slop is akin to, I've not felt enticed to watch anything at the cinema in years, I'll still always wait for the digital release though because I'm too anti-social
