I gave up recently. I stopped trying to sleep normally, just decided to go to bed when I get tired and wake up for work every morning at the same time I normally do

I've been averaging 5 hours of sleep rather than 8 this week so far and I feel almost completely fine

Is it harder to wake up in the morning? Yeah, a little
Do I gradually get sleepier at earlier time periods because of the constant lack of sleep? No, I go to sleep at 12:30-1 every night without fail.

Turns out I can live on reduced sleep just fine. Nice. I'm actually curious to see if this will stay the same in different menstrual phases, I always sleep a lot more before/on my period so we shall see if I revert to needing 8 hours again.

I'm similar - If I can't sleep consistent hours I'll pull an all nighter and attempt to sleep at an appropriate time the next day.
