Is 40g of fructose a day way too much?

Lmao it dosen’t matter if you eat 200 grams of carbohydrates
if you drink 3-4L of water and have a good electrolyte balance you won’t be bloated well unless if you overload on food

I drink enough water and since I quit processed sugar I lost appetite tbh

Processed sugar like maltodextrin is almost the same as sucrose or fructose and polysaccharides

Let’s say you’re (for example) 5’6ft and 50kg,if you ate 150 grams of carbohydrates no matter which form this would be the result

Consuming carbohydrates while being sedentary:Excess glucose is converted into glycogen and some to fat.
Consuming carbohydrates during a workout or a simple activity like walking:Glucose is used as fuel.

Well I think I will eat around 113 today. I simply don't enjoy other foods🥲

I am sort of active when at uni...I walk around 20k steps, but quite sedentary at home. The only things I do are around house duties and playing with my dogs. I guess I can consume fruit just fine when I am not home.

It dosen’t mean you only need carbohydrates before you walk or do something

So, if you consumed 100 grams of carbohydrates before you went outside you’d be fine but when you’re sedentary that does not mean you shouldn’t consume them at all so you’d eat 50-30 grams and nothing will happen.

Yeah I get that. I just meant I consume lots of carbs because I like fruit way too much. If I eat fruit, I ignore carbs for the rest of meals
