Yes actually, they obviously don't like you to be completely placid like a robot but many will get turned off or simply not know how to deal with it if you get emotional

I find the whole Idea of men(I'm a dude) being told not to show their emotions because It will turn off women is retarded,
I'm very expressive of my emotions I laugh a lot, Its easy to spot my anger if I'm mad at someone although I haven't really cried because nothing that's worth crying has happened to me yet, If I show my emotions to a girl & if she starts acting weird I'd just ignore her b/c Its illogical that my expression of my emotions make me less of a man

Not a weakness per se but it is not desirable for a man to be overly reactionary
I think what comes to mind when people say an emotional man is a drama queen, but that's not really accurate what should come to mind is someone expressing their emotions in a normal not over the top way.

I think he meant stuff like crying or screaming if you're pissed off

I get that, but as a person you've meet IRL actually cried due to minor inconveniences or scream when their angry?.
I think society has lead people to be quite polarized & has lead them to not think about actual people(like the ones they know irl, like family) as its mostly extreme things that tend to trend on the internet instead of normal things.

Unpopular opinion but if can't be emotional time to time with the girl you LTR, you're dating some trashy woman

Well even the women that I know don't just cry because their sad, The few times that I've seen them cry is due to serious turmoil that occurs in their lives.

Ong Plus isn't that the whole point of being in a relationship with someone, to share both the good & bad times, each others highest & lowest points?.
Me personally I'd want my partner to be completely open with me & I'd do the same

Thats why the vows include "thick and thin" and "in sickness and in health"

Simply put, yes
Don't show too many weaknesses, you can be cheerful and joking (without exaggeration) but limit complaints and sadness

You don't have to worry though, you are already too emotional

I always prefer for everyone to be emotional but not in an irrational and impulsive way way, i don't like cold people
