Every person I know either drives a car or two wheeler. If they are poor, they ride a cycle. Never met anyone who doesn't own any vehicle. Even females drive either car or two wheeler.

There are some white influencers living in India for several years and are in their 20s. Inspite of living in India for several years, they still cannot ride a two wheeler or car. They hire someone else to drive for them.
