The past year to year and a half of my life my human interaction has been at an all time low. As a result I’ve resorted to being online more.

You look at any study or science behind human interaction, they always say that it’s necessary.

But Honeslty this phase in my life I’ve been quite lonely and I don’t really ever feel sad because of it. I don’t have anyone to look at to be jealous of. I’m just living solo rn.

So maybe for some humans social interaction is excusable ???

we were wired that way but i dont really understand why, why couldnt the first homosapiens js crack and dip

only in childhood but it improves your life in small doses
It depends. For example you’re in college. Networking and socializing is a must because you can make some good connections that could help with your future.

During our childhoods socializing is almost a given g(unless you got bullied for a physicsl disability, or you were mentally ill to the point you couldn’t interact with kids your age properly) so with that in mind you will already naturally get that information/ knowledge in your head. Pubert / teen years is when your true colors kick in

I think there's a difference between getting by and living well. Some people can handle long periods with very little social interaction and still feel okay. But even occasional conversations can provide support, new ideas, and opportunities. The amount of social interaction people need can be different, but having some level of connection is generally helpful.

I agree. Most of the interactions I’ve had with new people or people I haven’t talked to in a while gave a nice feeling and I would always have the feeling of wanting more but I never would go out and talk more

I get scared when I meet ppl irl, I struggle with irl human interactions
Same but when I actually grt quaity socializing time I feel nice after. I always want more but I never am able to get more. I still live well off without but I look back at the good times sometimes

without social interaction you can't test your beliefs and whatnot, you'll have trouble growing as a person. you can partially simulate this by reading a lot instead of just... learning things socially. but that's just my personal opinion as someone who hates most people & thus is pretty lonely
