depends on your relationship with them
there are a few teachers I wouldn't have minded adding on social media
but even then I'd consider it weird if they added you first without any prompting
unless you two were like best buddies or something

Not really unless you knew them very well. And even then it's a bit strange if they're the opposite gender.
