Elaborate
Certain opinions often translate to acceptance and normalisation of negative and harmful behaviours hell even encouragement

If someone pushes the idea that let's say torture for medical purposes is okay then that opinion inherently makes them a bad person

My question is not about that

It’s about is it ok to be happy about a person being killed even though you don’t like their opinions they express publicly

That’s not about him, his death is just an example
Oh okay. If they aren’t doing anything such as murder, actively encouraging people to do bad things. It’s not that much to me, the negative influence they can have on others is something different though. Do they deserve to die? Prolly not. Speaking for Kirk, I only feel bad for his kids, and maybe his wife. I don’t really have any feelings on him dying because I never tuned into his thoughts/opinions.
