i m asking because yesterday i found out that one of my friends almost got assaulted for using something similarly problematic (no point in translating it, it loses its meaning in english) while talking to a random black dude at a bar

it wasn't the black guy, but a couple of white cucks who overheard it who got triggered

No. Unless you obviously mean it in a racist way. even if it was racist I wouldn't get angry.

ing if it was said neutrally and wasn't an obvious racist provocation? i guess it also depends on who hears it

As long as u call a black person anything except a monkey tbh

Yes and no: a racist insult is only semi-context-dependent

I don't want to be a nerd, so I'll stop here
n*****s don’t care man one time I used to be in 6th grade and I knew this black anime nerd who would do parkour at recess running around trying to do parkour outside

One time I was talking to him and inoscently said he was running around like a monkey climbing shit

But he took it as a racist insult and all his homies pulled up on me

what if you used "bonobo" or "capuchin" instead? are they prepared for that shit?

you are worrying for nothing

@LASACRKO

i stand corrected

is it racist to be a white teacher at a black public school and telling your class full of black children "No monkey business!" when going to the toilet?

no, because there's no extra context that would make it inappropriate
