your maxilla is bone, not soft tissue you can move with your thumbs. mse works bc it’s screwed into your teeth and puts real pressure on the bone. your thumbs just push on the skin inside your mouth(if your dumbass isnt following, it's not deep enough to do anything). the bone won’t shift from you rubbing your thumbs around in your mouth. any “changes” you've seen are you just imagining it. only orthodontic devices or surgery can actually widen your palate.
