Sometimes I feel like my side looks like a monkey

NPD affecting the maxilla

Hmmm....are we sure this term cab be applied to the maxilla?
It looks neutral because if you draw a straight line from the glabella (between brows) to the chin tip, the base of your nose/upper lip (subnasale) sits close to that line — not clearly behind (recessed) or ahead (forward).

Ok...so that would be flat?

Think so, it isnt a problem bc it isnt recesed, but also isnt optimal cause isnt fowarded. In ur case, the maxilla already looks neutral and balanced, so there is no obvious need for advancement. A slight forward movement could add midface definition, but too much would risk making the profile look overly convex.
