First post lmk me know if any of the following also fits you guys’ experience. I’m 18y. just started college. Genuinely pretty unattractive without makeup but I find that by acting confident and charismatic, having a good fashion sense and participating in traditional bitchy girl stuff I come off as much more attractive than I am, I manage to have plenty of romantic attention and a lot of friends/popularity despite having recessed infras pretty bad acne crazy eyebags big nose etc. Lurking the forums I see a lot of girls way cuter than I am who probably have potential to get treated like Stacy wherever they go simply by being more likable and charismatic. I only think this may not work if you’re blatantly out of shape
Makeup also helps ofc but a side note on that: I’ve found that there’s no need to be really overly insecure and ONLY leave the house with a full face even if your natural face isn’t something you’re confident in. This is just based off personal experience but I’ve found that if people meet you for the first time and you look really attractive, the next time they see you they still treat you as such even if you look different. Like “oh i know she’s pretty she’s probably just having an off day”. So dress up extra nice and be bubbly on your first day of classes, first day at a new job, etc.
