what i found helped me with my depression is spending some days without my phone or any devices, and turned on notifs only from emergency contacts
it really helps you disconnect from doomscrolling/social media which always has a negative impact on mental heath
if u dont know what to do, id start with going more on walks outside, and from there, slowly think of some hobbies and start practicing them (genuinely whatever makes u happy, u can find a hundred ideas if u look them up rq)
i used to have severe depression, and although i still have some episodes throughout the year, this really changed my life
also maybe try doing kind stuff for others, for example feeding stray cats/dogs, helping the elderly or giving away some of ur old stuff to charity or even stuff like helping the nature (recycling, picking up trash)
i know it doesnt sound like itd help but you genuinely feel like you made someones day better therefore u feel proud and also have a reason to live, by making the world a better place
