Your friend is horrible, I'm sorry that happened to you. Did you find a solution already? I would recommend going to a professional hairdresser, they will know how to fix it. You definitely need to cut it though, getting extensions would make everything worse in the long term and it is also quite expensive.

I KNOWW but because it was splat and on the darker side it’ll be hard to get out

First mistake was using splat. Opt for something actually semipermanent like arctic fox- that stuff will actually wash out and won’t damage your hair because it’s a deep conditioner. Second of all you could have easily made it look cute yourself! I’d recommend some deep conditioning masks and then if you’re comfortable retry with the conditioner based dye. It’s going to be okay girl

use a hair mask to make it look more glossy maybe dye it at a salon this time and don't trust anyone who isn't skilled with ur hair again

Sometimes we have to do sacrifices to get the reward!! Trust me, the best thing u can do is cut ur hair (not that short tho). But it's kinda uneven. I would recommend cut at least 5 inches!!
