On May 2018, Fremont CA there was a road rage incident between a white woman and service member. The woman clearly mocked his features.





Would the service member still have been mocked if he had looked like this hapa male model instead?

More beautiful people are treated better, Asians with these features are considered more beautiful by other Asians, who are a large proportion of who they will interact with based on simple demographics. So, yes they will be treated better.

yes, they are treated better. it just so happens that these features: taller noses, defined features, and creased eyelids mirror the eurocentric beauty standard--tall noses, big eyes(double eyelid makes your eyes larger, or seem larger).

ofc, we have exceptions such as lucy liu and devon aoki with monolids, but they are both considered attractive.

another thing. we also have an issue originating from colorism. there are two regions of china, northern china and southern china.
southern chinese and northern chinese look different from each other. northerners tend to have smaller or more narrow eyes, taller physique, pale skin, whereas Southerners tend to have bigger, rounder eyes, slightly more tanned skin, and generally of stockier, smaller build.
this is bc of diet and of climate--northerners live in frigid climate(SIMILAR TO SOME EUROPEAN COUNTRIES) whereas the southerners in tropical and subtropical regions of China, so think regions like india, philippines, just hotter climates. the northerners share a lot of DNA with the other Northern Asians such as the mongols, manchus and koreans(which we see in media are very worshipped along with japan and sometimes china), whereas the southerners with the various tribes of southeast Asia.

my point is, yes you are treated better since tall noses and big eyes are eurocentric features, and the world's beauty standard is currently and has been eurocentric for a while. but its never over think of our goddesses lucy liu and devon aoki
