is vitamin A poisoining a real thing

ive seen people eat 1kg of liver per day, and they seem to be fine
From what I googled 100g of liver contains around 7000 to over 25000 mcg of vitamin A and vitamin a can become poisonous around the 200,000 mcg mark. Generally you get vitamin or mineral poison from supplements, not from food.
