Does anyone know why I can’t breathe when mewing? I can press the front of my tongue to my palate but when I engage my hyoid and press the entire tongue I can’t breath? I’m tongue tied if that helps.

It seems OP is describing a phenomenon where they get tongue-tied and can't breathe properly when trying to "mew" (press the back of the tongue against the roof of the mouth) with the tongue and hyoid bone engaged.
