In this thread I'll be going over multiple aspects as to why the entirety of italy is subhuman, both its people and how the country functions.

Looks
Every 'good looking' italian you've heard of is not fully italian, that's because italian genetics are by default a nerf, and require other european genes to support it.
Exhibit A, Gio Scotti:

Parents:
Giuseppe Scotti and Ekaterina Konevskaya.
Konevskaya isn't a very italian-sounding surname to me...

Experience

This country is full of wanna-be gangsters, I slapped some dudes girlfriend a few months ago and he just asked me to stop, if I did that in a non-sissy country like germany, poland or spain I would've gotten knocked out on the spot.

Stores close at 8pm, and they close for 2-3 hours for lunch breaks, work ethic of a lazy fat bastard in this shithole.
The women are ugly, the men are mediocre & 175cm~ tall

Not a single good thing comes out of this place, mediocricy at best. Got cucked out of the roman empire and now the country is comparable to botswana

Economics & How the country is ran

[ Stagnant Wages for 30+ Years ]

Real wages have barely grown since the early 1990s, meaning Italians have seen some of the worst real income performance in the OECD.
https://www.oecd.org/economy/italy-economic-snapshot/

[ Youth Unemployment Is Structurally High ]

Youth unemployment remains persistently high even during economic expansions, proving it’s structural, not cyclical.

[ A Gerontocracy That Prioritizes Pensions Over the Future ]

Italy spends a disproportionate share of GDP on pensions compared to education, family policy, or innovation.
https://www.oecd.org/social/expenditure.htm

[ High Taxes, Low Returns ]

The tax wedge on labor is among the highest in Europe, while service efficiency remains below peer countries.

[ Overreliance on Tourism and Low-Value Sectors ]

Economic growth relies heavily on tourism and services with low productivity and weak scalability.

[ “Quality of Life” Is Propped Up by Low Expectations ]

High life expectancy coexists with low income mobility, weak earnings, and limited opportunity for the young.

Based + high t thread

I'm part Italian and proud of it anyway. Italy is a quintessential part of Europe and has a rich history, culture, culinary, and legacy.

History merchants

nothing to be proud of nowadays

Almost no European country has something to be proud of nowadays. Europe is a cesspool of North Africans and Middle Easterners.
Quality of life and how your country is doing is a good indicator

places like poland & switzerland have a lot to be proud of

Thoughts on Belgium, Orka?

It is significantly worse than both.
Same HDI as the rest of Europe.

Same HDI as the rest of Europe.
Germany is 0.95, switzerland is 0.96 and italy is 0.90 lol?

too bad the entire world disagrees
mtn is still above average you marshmello, but if you're using some mtn to represent your countries looks then somethings clearly wrong
