I suppose there might be some interesting quests in new games regardless of bloat. But they still shove their world view over yours.
You wouldn't have this problem with any game before 2016. With the new ones the quests might be fine, the open world might be cool, but the artstyle is just so mkultra. It looks nightmarish.

I can't praise the graphics or optimization when it just looks so out of place, so cliche so embarrassing
