"Whiteness" isn't a meaningful concept; largely an Anglosphere concept that changes constantly.

The term "Middle Eastern" is also largely a construct created by the British for arbitrary purposes. Even the term "Europe" isn't meaningful; Armenia, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan are often considered "completely European" or "completely non-European". The Netherlands regards Turkey as a "non-European country" in its entirety (even Thrace) whilst the UK considers even the parts of Turkey bordering Iraq and Iran as "Europe".

Genetically, things are even more of a mess. There's not really a thing as "genetically European" or "genetically Middle Eastern". Other than the hazy boundaries between parts of Western Eurasia, populations like Kurds are considered "Middle Eastern" yet they share more alleles with the "European" Bulgarians, Romanians and Greeks than they do with "fellow Middle Eastern" Palestinians, Bedouins and Saudis. Conversely, "European" Tuscans share more alleles with "Middle Eastern" Iranians than they do with "European" Russians.

Finally, when it comes to skin colour, there's not really any convergent evolution between Western Eurasians. So the Palestinian-American Linda Sarsour and some random Swede have similar skin tones because they have the SAME SKIN LIGHTENING GENES.
