Not everyone has easily accessible housing options, man. Where I live in the price of condos and houses have raised immensely since 2020. In half a year I'll turn 19 and I'll most probably still live with my parents.

well, i got my own apartment in order to be right by my college.

i was actually poor all my life. so poor that for college i got the maximum state grants and federal aid. i am lucky though, because i got a full ride scholarship to my college due to my academic record. so, instead of having to use those grants on my tuition, i can use them on textbooks as well as my own place next to campus. i do work though. im in no way rich though or have a lot of disposable income

im probably average smartness. i just had a good academic record because of the letters my teachers wrote, and all the sports, extracurriculars, and community service i did. my grades and sat scores weren't below average, but were probably the least impressive of the bunch if im honest with you.

it also matters that i went to a prestigious high school so colleges give you more grace if your grades arent in top shape, because the curriculum is harder

nah i mean the moral of this is that i got lucky. im not some total workaholic machine or some genius. instead, i used the cards i was dealt with and made it the most i could. i dont think anybody should be ashamed for living with their parents if theyre like below 30. just have a plan in mind at the least
