Just got my palate width checked

I have no idea about palette all ik is mines small

If your tongue touches most of your teeth when you rest it at the top of your mouth it’s an indicator of a narrow pallet.

I think I heard that somewhere

That’s a bad test imo cause small palate = small tongue and big tongue = big palate usally.

Isn’t an indicator of a wide palate vs a narrow palate how many teeth u can see when you smile? And if u can see dark corners when you smile.

Even the best looking male models often have narrower palates. Its why they don’t often smile with their teeth.

those "narrows" are still wide and the 2 "wide" examples are fucking MASSIVE that isnt normal

No the more the better. The average palate before the agriculture revolution was 50mm lol. When I’m done with Invisalign mine will be 50mm hopefully

How do you increase your palate width with invisalign? I thought you needed a palate expander too

It would expand minimally not as much as what u need

It also depends on height and ratios.

Bigger heads need larger palates.

Just use the teeth test, count how many teeth show when u smile.

14=exceptional
12=good
10=ok
less than 8=bad

14?? Idk if you’re making this up or something. And how is 10 okay??? Bro are YOU okay. THE WIDE PALATE EXAMPLES YOU SHOWED THAT ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD PERFECT SHOW ONLY 10 TEETH

If you show me a smile that shows 14 teeth I will go wild

Avg human have 8-10 smile in teeth. The examples I showed both have 12 teeth when smiling. Which is wider than avg.

This is what u can call a wide palate.
14 might have been a stretch. But 12 is ideal, and 10 is good.

Yeah bro 14 teeth smiles don’t exist but 12 is ideal. Mine is not ideal yet cause those outer 2 are not fully visibile but it’s not like a 10 tooth smile can’t be better than a 12 tooth one (the examples u showed are better than mine but only 10 tooth)
