Just had my first official 한국어 class!!

It was fun! :rainbowpls: :rainbowpls: But it looks like my gut was right, I think the class level I chose might be too beginner oriented for me. We’ll see how the class progresses, hopefully it gets harder:catjam:

Oh, I should mention it’s a zoom class. Demographics wise, it was pretty much what you’d expect. I think my class has like 15 people. Majority women, mostly huWhite, a non Korean squishy, a sistaa, and a Latina. All Korean obsessed ofc, the Latina wanted to learn Korean for her Korean bf lol. Think there were only 2 guys jfl, me and this Korean adoptee.

Socialization wise, couldn’t really do much. We did hve breakout room but the teacher would almost immediately come to ours. Oh the teacher is very cool btw, I like her teaching style :blobdance::blobdance::catjam::catjam:

I will try! Each session is 2hrs, we did hve a 5min break in between but everyone just shut their cams and mic off. I think some people were absent though so hopefully when we do breakout rooms in the future there’ll be some moments to socialize :blobdance:
