Y'all ever heard of Dunning-Kruger effect? So, i actually decided to listen to video "Schopenhauer | why "idiots" think that they're genius' " (it's in russian, link- ), and author said: "idiots, who know only the surface info, think that they know everything. For them, opinion of a philosopher, and an opinion of a bloger has the same value. There is a thing called "imitation of big mind", when an idiot speaks about something using smart words, creating illusion of competence, and if you want to know, whether it's only imitation or no, just ask him to explain it in easy words. If he can't- he's an idiot, imitating big mind. Schopenhauer spent years, explaining hard things in easy language. Kant wrote, "The more you know the more you understand that you don't know nothing", and idiots just don't accept it. They think they know every bit of information. You can't change idiots opinion not because he doesn't listen, but because he doesn't have a mechanism to understand critics. In order to change, you need to accept the fact of you being wrong, which means that you need to see the difference between your opinion and reality. But an idiot will think that it's just a basical difference in opinions. The only way to become less idiot, question your beliefs." And holy, I'm the idiot. I'm the one, trying to imitate a big mind. I meant, it rarely happens, but it still happens.

+ I remember one example:
"— Every idiot is always sure that he is right!
— Are you sure about that?
—Absolutely!"
