I used to be addicted to these games too but its been a month since I quit and that fits with my arrival date here lol.. Ig Im trading one addiction for another but at least Im having fun here

I have spent 25$ for some fucking Exo Vandal skin. That fuckass game has some upgrading mechanism to upgrade your skin colour 😭 Valorant is probably worse than Clash Royale

sometimes swapping one addiction for a less harmful one is ideal. if you're having fun here, it's better than dropping too much money on games that probably make you either hella cracked or actually dog water. in a perfect world people have zero addiction, but harm reduction is something i preach and strive for

I have quit PC games entirely. You should quit too if you feel like you spend way too much

it's so bad. i'm like "oh shit, i spent 100$ for a shitty skin bundle. time for me to then buy the battlepass and level it up so i can get the upgrade points. totally a good use of my time AND money" and then i get dogged on over team chat and delete my valorant account a month or two later

Ive never been addicted to reels tbh, when it came out I knew that it was going to take a crazy amount of my time (I remember scrolling 6 hours+ the first few weeks jfl) and I immediately uninstalled all my socials. All platforms have reels now so I have nothing on my phone except something to send messages with

At least on com and other forums, you talk to people and youre not stuck alone on reels or frustrated on a multiplayer game

i only game when i'm socializing. it sometimes makes things less awkward, a lot less dead air when in a voice call. you don't wanna yap? you do callouts. you wanna yap? good because i'm eating bricks anyways. it's a free game to play so it's a lot easier for me to boot it up and play with nearly anyone who probably doesn't care about valorant enough to actually crash out over the fact i walk straight into people's crosshairs. i'm unfortunately a yapper so that's all i care about at the end of the day

yes that's true, you just rot alone on your phone and get no social interactions from these apps, but i rot here way more than on tiktok tbh, 12h a day is crazy work

thats crazy, i started to learn 3d modeling once too but i quit it after 2-3 weeks because i was not creative enough and ig it's time for me to join the vr world bud if you can waste 4.5k hours there it's prolly a lot of fun jfl but I will need a new vr headset cuz i only have the oculus quest 2. it will probably help me improving my english skills because i'm not that good in speaking and understanding :copium:
