I agree that the idea trump could ruin America within a day is silly, but with a majority republican house and senate the levels of scrutiny will be at an all time low, which is damaging to your democracy. I do think there is a certain level of paranoia with trump and America isn’t just going to reduce women’s rights to the likes of Afghanistan due to his presidency. However, i full heartedly believe that he isn’t going to do nearly as great for your country as people are deluded into thinking so and will likely mess up Europe while he’s at it.

1) Just because there is a majority in senate and house, doesn't mean automatically all republicans senate and house will vote to pass every single thing going thru, u should know that. Dont forget the midterms are in 2 years, so Trumps window to "destroy" the country isn't as big as people think it will be and there's no guarantee he even gets the more moderate repubs to pass legislation on every issue he wants passed

I honesty don’t think trump will completely destroy the country but he’s certainly won’t improve it and I feel sorry for the dense headed people who truly voted for him purely to improve the economy . Policy wise I don’t agree that his are better than Kamala’s, although there are some of hers I don’t agree with. However, in terms of my opinion on their policies, I understand that I personally do not live in a country nearly as big as America, nor do I know what is needed to run a country so big, so my opinions are likely biased to Kamala as she conforms largely with politics in the majority of Europe, which I can hold my self accountable to. I think the potential tariffs will harm Europe as well as his cut of funding to ukraine, although I can sympathise with the Americans disapproval of funding the Ukraine war as I think in an ideal world that money should be used towards your own country, there’s can be no denying that the budget cut could cause a significant impact on Europe, particularly for countries bordering Ukraine. I may be wrong but I was under the impression that America was protecting Ukraine, not only because of NATO but also because they agreed to if Ukraine surrendered their nuclear bombs to them.
