On average we eat 2-3 pounds of insects yearly. The FDA actually allows fragments of bugs in food, especially chocolate and peanut butter

Peanut butter can legally contain over 30+ insect fragments and 1 rodent hair for every 100g

Up to 20 maggots are allowed in canned mushrooms for every 100g

Tomato sauce can legally include mold, fly eggs, and maggots

Coffee is normally infested with insects and mold

Wheat flour allows 75 fragments of insects for every 50g, this goes into bread cookies cake etc

Stopped reading at "FDA"
Even if you're not American it still applies. Infact if you're in a 3rd world take everything I said and multiply it by a hundred
