The happiness of a child isn’t proof joy exists without suffering, it’s proof joy exists with smaller-scale suffering. Innocence just shields them from knowing how wide the spectrum really is. If you look at it from a biological angle it's quite boring (and simple), you see, at a young age, children experience far less sympathetic nervous system activity
