life is precious and can change very fast

back when I first got sober I was doing doordash in between jobs, On Sunday, Nov 3rd my life changed instantly. I had taken the day off to relax and go to the lake with my friend, on the way while sitting at a red light, I was hit from behind by an 18 wheeler semi. He hit me going 60mph. I lost consciousness and was sent to the hospital, I was discharged two weeks later. although I had shoulder and neck injuries, severe lacerations amongst many other minor injuries, I'm grateful. the doctors kept saying how lucky I am to be alive. my car was totaled, idc.

can't play sports anymore, I'll walk w a limp forever most likely but I still get around fine and can work and do most other things
