Looking for some hair advice

Sup guys, looking to get my hair looking good before I start school in the winter semester. I have a really hard time growing my hair long as it tends to grow thicker and more dense but not longer. I think it would take years of growing to be able to have a truly long hairstyle. The pictures are from almost 8 months of growing.

Could I pull off a buzzcut fade or would my larger forehead ruin it? Any style suggestions? I know shaving your head is kind of frown upon and only certain people can actually look good with them. I plan on losing a bit more weight, so my face will hopefully be a little more angular in the near future. ty

Greetings, all. I’m aiming to improve the appearance of my hair before the winter semester begins. I’ve encountered difficulty in growing my hair long, as it tends to become thicker and denser rather than longer. Achieving a genuinely long hairstyle seems like it would take years of growth. The photos provided show the results of nearly eight months of growth.
Would I be able to pull off a buzzcut fade, or would my prominent forehead detract from it? I’d appreciate any style recommendations. I understand that shaving one’s head is often viewed unfavorably, as it typically suits only certain individuals. I also plan on losing additional weight to help make my face appear more angular in the near future. Thank you.
