when I was younger and reading the puberty/growing up books and whatnot they showed all the body types like pear or apple or hourglass and I was looking at all of them and all I was thinking was "jeez I really don't want anything else but hourglass, I hope I don't get anything else"

and I'd like to think I had little outside influence on that as a kid so already fearing for my future self for a body I don't even have yet is kinda terrfiying

that's really bad

and in the book they were talking about how all body types are equally beautiful and even then I was thinking that it was bullshit lol, I knew some body types just inherently got treated worse than others

my 6 yrs nephew said he don't want to cut his hair bald because his classmates will say hes ugly and would not talk to him
