hypothesis
People rate mainly off of reputation, so no matter how good looking you are, you'll always get rates lower than your actual rate. Foids and greys are more prone to this bias.
conditions
I avoided stating names to avoid potential recollection.
my own rates:
Chad vanderloo - mid chad
Andreas - mid chad
Stepanov - mid chad
Welling - hhtn
Leon Kennedy - low chadlite
Cavil - mid chad
results
Experiment 1: chad vanderloo
Aligns with my hypothesis pretty well since he's pretty unknown. Most people who underrated where indeed greys or foids.
Experiment 2: andreas eriksen
I kinda was expecting a few htn rates since muhhh appeal copers, but he actually did the best out of all the results.
Experiment 3: vasily stepanov
I was suprised he got less chad rates on average than vanderloo tbh
Experiment 4: welling
Most diverse rating profile I'd say.
Experiment 5: Leon Kennedy
most consistent so far except andreas. I was kind of suprised there was no htn rates as he's more average than all the other faces shown other than maybe welling
Experiment 6: cavil
Gets slander alot on tiktok. Pleasantly suprised by this outcome
conclusion:
the rating they got most tended to be the most accurate one. I think poor rates are usually just down to the audience, certain times posted leading to more greys and foids seeing and rating. Status certainly has a slight role into rates though, and some faces are more prone to underrates (likely due to a higher averageness.)
Leon did get slightly overrated tho
most autistic thing I've ever done
